Dear Eagles fan,
Firstly I would like to thank you for your invaluable support for the Eagles through difficult times this year. Lady luck was not on our side with injuries and retirements. Sad to see Dave Norris, Dean Barker and Stefan Andersson finish their season prematurely, but it did give the opportunity for younger riders like Simon Gustafsson to prove he’s a real star for the future.
However, as you are probably aware, major changes have taken place these last few weeks which has seen the departure of Bob Brimson and a new promotion is now in place consisting of Martin Hagon and Bob Dugard, with myself staying on as team manager. The Elite league point’s limit has been reduced from 42.5 to 38.85.
Major signings for Eastbourne 2008 include top British riders Scott Nicholls, Lee Richardson, Edward Kennett, Lewis Bridger, Cameron Woodward, Simon Gustafsson and one other to be confirmed soon.
Exciting new team, new promotion, and looking good for 2008 season.
